School Show Overview

Our presentations educate and excite students from kindergarten through grade 12. We fit into many of the strands in both the Elementary and Secondary Science Curriculum. (View full curriculum show offerings here)
Canadian Raptor Conservancy combines education with entertainment to teach students about raptors and their important role in nature. Each show consists of five distinctly different raptors and if space permits they will show off their unique flight capabilities, indoors or out.
Canadian Raptor Conservancy offers three different show configurations:
- Option 1: Give a Hoot! Owls
- Option 2: Endangered Species of Canada
- Option 3: The World of Raptors
Each demonstration includes an educational commentary* that addresses each individual species and how they fit into their natural world. (*Also available in French from April through September).
We will cover such topics as:
- the food chain
- distribution
- habitat
- adaptations
- hunting style
- historical significance
