Television and Motion Picture
Canadian Raptor Conservancy provides trained birds for both the Television and Motion Picture Industries. This includes television commercials, series work, documentary and grand scale Hollywood productions.
Some of the productions in which our birds have had major roles include:
- Zoboomafoo – 10 of our birds starred in this educational children’s series, co-starring Martin and Chris Kratt
- The Education of Little Tree – 2 Saker Falcons co-starred with James Cromwell and Grahame Green
- Cara Cara – 2 Harris Hawks co-starred with Natasha Henstridge and Lauren Hutton
- Jewel – 1 Harris Hawk co-starred with Farrah Fawcett
- Lost and Delirious – 1 Harris Hawk co-starred with Piper Perabo
- My Bosses Daughter – 2 Great Horned Owls co-starred with Ashton Kutcher, Carmen Electra, and Dave Foley
- K19 The Widow Maker – 2 Peregrine Falcons co-starred with Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson
- Cold Creek Manor – a turkey vulture co-starred with Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone
